Well if kimbo can do it then I sure as hell can!

This is what i've got so far:

Motherboard - http://www.lambda-tek.com/componentshop ... productTop

Processor - http://www.lambda-tek.com/componentshop ... productTop

Memory (RAM) - http://www.amazon.co.uk/OCZ-OCZ2G8004GK ... 901&sr=8-1

Graphics Card - http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/9556367/S ... oduct.html

Power Supply - http://www.lambda-tek.com/componentshop ... 8&showold=

Hard Drive - http://www.lambda-tek.com/componentshop ... ID=B128094

DVD ROM - got one lying around somewhere

Monitor - Probably gonna buy a 18 - 20 inch TV with an adapter.

Case - Couldn't give a shit, something cheap as free.

All in all this will cost under £600 (without a monitor) which is perfect.

Any complaints? Improvements?

And don't complain about the graphics card, I like ATI, my HD 2600 has lasted me almost 3 years now and it can still play all the new games, all be it slowly. Plus it's there latest card for only £150 ffs.

This memory has better timings for a bit cheaper: http://www.lambda-tek.com/componentshop ... productTop

For the motherboard I'd get a gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3L (90 usd) or a GA-EP45-UD3P (135 usd). I don't know what they cost over there.

On a side note, I loved my ATI card. I could turn on the computer, launch a game, and cook breakfast with it. With my nvidia I have to go all the way into the kitchen. Also, my heating bills have increased nearly 50%.

Now that I use nVidia, strangers on the steet give me cases of Heineken and compliment my rad style almost daily.

Also my mom's cancer is completely gone.

well what about your cooling system, if it has problem overheating it could have been your fan and case.

still worth buying..... cuz to run a ati card there is more to it then just buying it... u need more power for a ati card u need better cooling... etc and u need to buy new gfx card more often if u wanna have the best settings on...
