Hey I found out, you can play repcom pubs via gameranger.
Download, sign up, make a server and invite some noobs.

(Click on play via LAN).

Today I played with 10 noobs so others do it too. Same works on SWBF1&2.

[hi] RepCom FTW

Here you can download GameRanger : Download GameRanger

And I don't know how many noobs play. I played with over 10 but I also played with under 5 noobs...

You have to host server and the noobs also to play, you don't need to open any Ports.

Also it is possible to Host a dedicated Server and link it with GameRanger. So that a public server is shown not ingame in serverlist but in GameRanger Serverlist and everybody who joins this server on GameRanger can find it on LAN -> Join LAN Game.

So... can dedicated servers still be hosted using game ranger? Lets say I have an extra root server I'm willing to offer up... Is there a public server list that this could work on?

Sure you can host a dedicated server, even if it's not public we got an IP to play on. I'm not sure about hosting this as a dedicated one via GameRanger but I think it's possible, I didn't tried because I have no Windows server, which you should have to try it out.

I think you can! Try it if you have a windows server but the public list where the server will be shown is only in GameRanger don't forget this!
