Can anyone throw out some interesting arguements about human nature that could be used to write a decent ten page arguement paper?

Much appreciated.

you could talk about Darwin and how he believed that humans have no truly fixed nature

or you could just write a paper on how "Darwin is a Badass"

I'm not asking anybody to write a paper for me, just to throw out some ideas. Besides, it's a more interesting topic than half the other threads, so why not?

Also, I'm not in History any more, Kimbo. ;p

one thing you could talk about is
Why people don't have to be taught to disobey but why they have to be taught to be good?
Does this mean that our nature is to do wrong things?
or
Why do people always want to take the easy way out?
or you can go all creepy and talk about pain.
about how we don't like to feel pain but it is one of the most important feelings ever. Most people think that to live with out pain would be the greatest life ever. But..... there are people who live with out pain.... they have to be checked by an x-ray and looked over to make sure they did not break any bones or have a major cut. They could bleed to death and never feeling happening. they could have three broken ribs but not know it. Eventually that would lead to their death. [ohnoes] i think i would chose pain =B

Where you can find arguments about human nature.
There are lots of books written by Christian authors that explore the human nature and they all talk about how the human nature is inherently bad and writing a paper on how people are all bad always gets a good grade ;D

well good thing is egos. people most often assume themselves better than other people, so are instantly incredulous of any idea's presented to them, even if it is reasonable.

For instance, Ajax asked for about 10 seconds of attention to throw a few words out there, but if you are to "Cool" (big ego) you will probably just add a few pointless comments attempting to trigger a response from someone else.

there ya go

True that. [giggle] [giggle] [giggle]

Someone did mention that thing about having to be taught to do what's right. No one show's children how to do bad things but they do them anyway. The pain topic might be interesting too.

I'm thinking about going a little creepier and doing something about death; like why people are afraid of it. Seems like it would be fun to research some quests for immortality and the likes.

Don't know if you know about this, but speaking of egos, you could check the id, ego, and superego. Goes into what makes a personality. Also is about the Conscious/unconscious parts of the mind.
