I'm getting a graphics card for my bday soon and i don't know which one to choose from a few.
I have only a 550w PSU but the minimum for a GTX 260 requires 500w.

and don't worry about the PSU, manufactures put the minimum specs way higher than they should be. My ATI HD5770 says minimum 450W PSU, I have a 375W PSU and it's working fine, with two hard drives.

The amps on the 12V line and more important than the watts of the PSU really, but I guess you should meet the minimum on everything to be safe.

Hahaaaa, i'll have to find another place then, yeah i wasn't worried about the adaptors, i fully checked my psu and case etc... i will have no problems, just need to decide on a card.
