This is the official 'Man and Marietta" thread.

What work outs you guys do? If you don't that's fine, I know some of us do though. How many reps and sets?

I really don't do actual exercise much, but I always try to keep moving throughout the day and not sit still for too long.

As for actually setting aside a few minutes and working out, I'll usually do some pushups.

Try doing fifty pushups (getting your chest about a fist's height from the ground, back straight, etc, etc.) After that, hold yourself up in the pushup position, arms fully extended. Hold it for a minute or so; I usually just count to fifty. Then go into the lower position, holding your chest a few inches from the ground, and count to fifty. Next, hold yourself halfway in between the two positions and count to fifty again. Finish up with ten pushups.

It takes less than five minutes, but you'll feel it in your arms and core. Those last ten pushups can be murder. I don't know how much muscle mass I actually get from it, but its good for a bit of sculpting. Also, if you put your hands close together, you can get an even better tricept workout from this.

It's always good to do some cruches or something while you have a break in life, and they're something I really ought to do more often. I think that the ones where you bring your left elbow to the right knee/right elbow to the left knee works the best for getting around the abdomen. Do reps of twenty. Doing more than twenty in one rep isn't really beneficial, but I usually don't count and just put on a song - probably not the best idea, but whatever.

Other than that, I've got some little ten pound free weights. You can really do a lot with them, depending on how you move them. Hold it behind your head with both arms and lift up and down to get the tricepts. Lay on your back and move them around from place to place to get the pecs. You can always just lift them like normal, which focuses a lot on the bicepts and forearms. Ten pounds isn't going to really give you much more mass, but like I said, it's good to get yourself cut (which girls usually prefer).

Just wait until after this summer. My friend is getting us passes to use the college weight room that his dad works at, and we're going to be pumping iron. Hopefully we don't get too lazy.

I go to a fitness center, but only in the summer, and I get enough physical activity during the school year as it is, two and a half hours each day. From my high school sport, and gym.

well I run 3 miles a day, and then a bunch of other cardio stuff. Then some sit ups, push ups, crunches, etc. Don't really lift much, but i have been doing some because of my damn arm that i broke not that long ago (I needa strengthen it up)

As for sports, I play tennis every day (3rd seat) and in the winter I'm on my school's freestyle snowboard comp. team =]
