People still play this game? What ever happened to all 100,000 topics about the servers being shut down, then re-done, then shutting down. I honestly doubt 1/4 of the community even looks at the game anymore, even though it's 10 years old I think.

I paid for 90% of the public servers active for the past 1-2 years. Not to mention I provided servers for the American community as well as the European one. I paid for them with my money. I administrated them with my time, which, since i'm not 14, has value to me.

I'll do whatever I want to my servers, if that includes turning them off, then that's my choice. If you didn't like it, you could have reached into your own back pocket and paid for your own. I never hid my knowledge on how to admin republic commando servers, and I helped multiple people even people I didn't actively like. If you had of asked, I'd have helped you too. But no, you'd rather that I had paid for them right?

To top it all off, you had to make a new throwaway just to comment.

Btw, I never bragged about having the "server freezers". I admitted I was able to take down servers. I originally created a tool to act as a deterrent to a few certain people in the community who were targeting my servers. A quick demonstration quickly helped them decide that attacking my servers was not in their best interests, thus, there I was once again, Penguin, the white knight, saving RepCom. Also, bud, you failed to note the fact that I never once shared these exploits with anyone, not the compiled code, the source or the knowledge behind them. I never even hinted how to do it or which methods I used personally. I'll admit I was quite proud of what I created, because as far as I know, no one else in the community made such a sophisticated exploit that could be run outside of the game, however mine was never used for anything but removing servers hosted by people faking my own.

You also seemed to fail to grasp that I could do whatever I wanted to my servers because I paid for them. You say I was killing the game, without me, there wouldn't have been any servers, I don't understand how you can't get that. PS: I got loads of thanks from the public noobs for continuing to host for those 2 years, I don't need self praise.
