I am, but I'm rusty. I've been trying to make a good color tag, but haven't had the patience or time. I have an older version of gimp, and most of the color saturations aren't up to the standard I'm looking for. I can show you some of my work if you'd like.

personally i think its a really good sig because of the flow. i agree with deks that its a bit "messy" on the left side, but it works with the style of the signature so its not really a problem. the only thing i dont care for is the text. to be honest i dont know what would correct it though. text was always my biggest issue for signatures.

i was really going for a "breaching feel" where maybe some of the gunpowder was still lighting around the swat guy, and with him going through the smoke/dust created by the explosion as he enters the room. i really liked the feel witht the stock as well, it already had some bloody walls so it was like a terrorist scenario basically. thats really how i took it!

text is a completely different story haha, each sig is a hit and miss for me depending on the style i do. But i swear no one is ever happy with whatever text anybody does haha. The site i go on for gimp, 90% of the complaints are the text. haha im trying super hard to improve that for me.

Updated, new colorful halo sig!

added a few since i haven't kept this up to date!

the first one is a Ford Shelby photo manip that i finally finished. it wasn't just a stock that i adjusted, it was the car, an "alley" type stock, another urban stock for the fg wall, hen i added the head lights and other color adjustments

the second one is a mach promotional sig that i made for daniel tosh since he came to my hometown to do a show. my idea was to make fun of the current movie fad of making everything in 3d

Both are pretty good. The Shelby could've been better, some of the work on it was a little weird looking, but it was still decent. The Tosh one has the brushes worked in very well, and I really liked the idea of it. Good job and keep it up!

So I have been meaning to make a tag in honor of Battlefield 3, and while I was doing that I decided to work more on my other Battlefield WIP tag I had posted a while back. "Fight The System" is more or less a manip that I created with a fire stock from the RESURGE group on DA. I wanted the effect to be such as a soldier coming out of a massive fire fight, walking out of the smoke and flames around him, went for more of a simple but professional crisp look. "Beauty In War" was an "outside the box" concept I kind of found out through trial and error, and I loved the results that I was getting. The effect that I wanted in this was a little similar to "Fight The System" but more of a mid war scenario, all the color splatter clip masks are, in an abstract way, supposed to be the explosions and smoke that he is causally walking through.

The top one is good, but I think it is a little bit too empty. I really like it though. The effects you chose were great. I really love the text that you used.

The second one is very interesting. I really like what you did with it. The colors are so out there that it looks really good. The splatter is really well done. The only thing is that the text could be better. Very good work nonetheless.

I kept the first one simple because I was going for a manipulation more than anything else. I wanted everything to be seen except being distracted by too many effects.

Glad you like my 2nd one, I was a little skeptical if people would like it at all. Yah the text is, a Little weird, I kind of rushed it so I might try to work with something else!
