Republic Commando is a unique and epic FPS that has and will always have a special place in my heart. The campaign had the smartest AI I've ever seen, and the music and graphics blow away any other game from its time. I will continue to play until it's very last days. Thanks Deity for paying for those servers for us to play in all this time, the whole community appreciates it.

alright i think we need to all be honest with each other. We all know repcom is probably the best fps game any of us have ever played. if it wasnt we wouldnt have all kept on coming back to see if it was around so we can play it again.
The community also kept people playing. Repcom community probably contains the most interesting human beings on the planet all combined into one video game community. The game is "dead" to some but not in other ppls minds and its fine. Some people don't want to let repcom die and i don't blame em. If the game was ever supported by anything that would have gotten it played a lot by a lot of ppl like a cod or one of those other shitty games. It would still be fun.

I know some of you still scrim from time to time and altho im not going out of my way to get matches, if you guys want to play and you see me on xfire im down to get some more matches in on this game before the time comes when the game has 0 ppl playing it.

I mean hell, repcom is the only game ive been able to play for more than 3 months and still like it.

I don't make fun of people who play the game for the fun of it, I never have. I don't make fun of people who try to get good at the game, because at some point or other, we all were. "Pro" is a term for people of your stature who are too ignorant to realize that a whore (synonymous with prostitute) is anyone who gives out sex for money, man OR woman. You're a pitiful little boy, and I'd almost feel bad for you if you hadn't disrespected our game in our own section. Go play Ghost Recon, leave Republic Commando to the people who still love it. Although I don't play, it was and will always be one of the best games I have ever played, and the game that I have most enjoyed with friends ever.

Thank you Deity, and to anyone who has or continues to give this game some hope and pride. It's a shame it declined in the first place, and has now come to this. Cheers guys.

Fact is that the game is 8years old. Do not expect that the game will earn more activity. Only nostalgic StarWars-geeks would buy an 8years old StarWars game. But hey, we're all hipsters, we aren't playing games which are too mainstream...

Please do not try to preach to me. It's annoying. My point was not to verbally abuse or attack him, but to give him a bit of perspective as to what most if not all of us are thinking when he tries to post garbage like he did. We don't want to hear about it. I'm being perfectly respectful, but I'm voicing an observation and opinion that I have ascertained through those observations. And no, I'm not taking the game or this conversation all that seriously, but his needless posting and aggravating remarks get tiresome.

And damn straight I'm nostalgic, and I figure quite a few of the older players feel the same way. This game was amazing, it really was. To have those good times listening to people complain and cry on teamspeak as you kept killing them over and over would be wonderful. Those are the times to remember in this game, when you were with friends having fun. That's why I miss this game.
