Status, what graphics program do you use? I am trying to get Ps7 but I would like to know if CS is better and what CS stands for.

my suggestion would be cs. i don't know the ps7 you were speaking about. if you ment photoshop elements 7......TAKE CS !!!

Nah man there's SOOO many updates in CS4 that I use all the time, I could never go back to CS3 and the use of your videocard makes it wayy faster when dealing with huge complex projects

CS4 uses whole 10mb Vram...

CS4 is HORRIBLE on windows. I mean stuff in tabs? Wtf id up with that?

CS stands for Creative Suite. For some reason, after version 7, adobe started calling them CS. CS4 is really Photoshop 11.

Each version generally adds more features, so I'd say go with the newest you can get. One good reason to get CS4 is its ability to run in 64 bit mode, so RAM usage won't be limited.

I see no reason to get Ps7 unless it's really cheap.

Also, what's wrong with tabs? You don't have to use them if you don't want to, but i find them useful.

i like the UI in CS4 more than CS3
