well my friend has em and he spent over 11000kr on a pc.. thats about 1100 euro.. and he laggs. Maybe its only his comp but i dont think so, its always problems with grafficrads..

I have over 100 fps in crysis on all on ultra high and 1440x900 dx10 all the time but u need to set ur fan settings on 80% or u will have a barbecue in your comp :) but if u have a ati card and do the same hmm the whole world will die cuz its to hot hehe [PUPPY]. This is pointless just buy what ever u want. i recomend a 260 or a 280 it will work fine on all games. or u can buy the ati if u want:P some love nvidia or ati thats final.

I don't love any company at all ... I was long time an AMD user (Athlon XP) because they were simply better than those gay Pentium 4 CPU's....

But since Intel improved alot and is currently better than AMD, I got a Intel CPU as well... I don't care about the brand, only the performance is important and what I get for my money.

Or change the whole system: Get a motherboard with an AMD 790FX chipset and replace the GTX 280 by a Radeon HD 4870 X2 which is currently the fastest single card.

A Radeon HD 4870 X2 beats the Geforce 280.
And always notice that there is the CrossFireX option in future. By the way: CrossFireX is way more efficient than SLI, and there is no "microruckler" what Virus said.

Also you can use up to 4 GPUs in future, since that X2 is a dual GPU card.

Just an alternative.

This won't work at DinoPC; they have no AMD 790FX Chipset, and I won't buy from CyberPower -- their terms of use thingy looks dodgy.

I'd go for a dual core, they're far cheaper and you probably wont have much use for four cores for a while. They're far cheaper... you can get a 3.16 GHz for $190. That much only gets you maybe 2.4 in a quad core.

Virus PLEASE, just PLEASE don't talk that retarded shit what's coming with no experience with this system.

It doesn't get any hotter than the 280, and since this system is just ONE card, there is no microlagg possible because there is no SLI/CrossFireX.
(Although CrossFireX doesn't lagg either, since a friend uses it and never says those shit)

And btw. I just told you that ATI provides the best single card with the 4870 X2.

Read this test and you will believe me: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Sapphire/HD_4870_X2/

the best single card with 2 gpus... the 280 is way better.

Dude that depends on the game. And the X2 beats the 280 in almost every game.... 2 GPU's okay, but it's one card :)

How big is the difference between Asus P5N-D (nForce 750i chipset, SLI) and Asus P5N-T Deluxe (nForce 780i chipset, 3-way SLI)?

I strongly recommend you to not post if you have no clue about the issue we are discussing about.
