It this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart
your computer. If this screen appers again, follow
these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed.
If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for

if the power supply wouldnt have enuff power, the pc wouldnt go on, or it would just crash, or the psu would burn/smoke down, but no Bluescreen

i googled your error (STOP:0x00000116) and i flipped through some results, and some were identical to yours, GTX 260 and Vista 64bit, i think i read something about driver or something like that, then i was too lazy to search on and went somewhere else, just search this error, only the stop failure, with the numbers after it, then read through some google results and then you will find a solution, when i have time this night, i gonna search it maybe too :P

When I upgraded my graphics card, I kept getting bluescreens. I got a better power supply, and the problem went away. However, if you haven't messed around with your hardware lately, the power supply probably isn't the problem.

Post subject:  Re: Grafikcard=Bluescreen

anyways, this problem is friggin old, and nvidia already fixed the problem....

download this driver and install it
http://www.nvidia.de/object/winvista_x6 ... ql_de.html

next time, use google and dont only type it in and close the window again...

if you have still problems (what i dont think)

try this: http://www.hardwareluxx.de/community/sh ... p?t=428906

if its still not working, try this

http://www.omegadrivers.net/nvidia_vista64.php

(google ftw :P )

( i found em all with google... on the first page, the first 5 google results... what the fuck? )
