well well. i (finally) updated windows vista to w7 pro. but now i got this problem. i got all my music on my ipod nano. but i want to transfer all the files from my ipod to itunes. but i don't know how? i was wondering if this was even possible. becuz of the lame protection off the files etc. help is welcome :D

www.google.de -->> ipod browser

My Ipod touch ( jailbreaked ) had a folder category with Sounds/Music in it. All i had to do was to search it via iphone browser and send 'em right to my pc.

Thats the only option i know to get the music from yoru ipod to your pc.

you need to copy the files to your PC then into itunes. [roll]

also you should have backup your pc when you install a new OS. >:(

did that.
but i couldn't upgrade becuz i had not got vista pro. so i had to reinstall the whole

Not sure if you solved this or not. In the past I have used sharepod. You put it on your ipod and it allows you to easily transfer songs on and off your ipod at ANY computer. Relatively easy to use though I remember that something always didn't work quite the way it was supposed to. (for example Last summer i used it for my work computer and though i dumped my music onto my work comp I could not get the playlist)

actuallyl i solved the problem with the program called sharepod.. got the tip from a cousin of mine. problem is over pls lock the topic. and thanx for you help :)
