Since you cannot retain your opinion, typical democrat, I must maintain mine. I assume you are atheist too? Yeah I can't argue against your ignorance.
Teach me a lesson? What lesson. I have nothing against gays, but why should I vote for something that goes against my beliefs. The gay lifestyle is inherently unequal to the heterosexual one. PC or not, the gay lifestyle doesn't lead to procreation. Without children society dies off. Elevating the gay lifestyle to an equal level with the straight lifestyle means that procreation is no longer a vitall part of society.

I will become a proponent of gay marriage if you can prove this wrong: if marriage is changed to include gays, how can anyone tell me that is the end of this change. If the arrangement of the sexes is no longer important, then why is the number or any other part of it important. If I have twelve girlfriends, why can't we all get married. We are all adults and in love, and so our union should be recognized by marriage just like a gay marriage. My friend, his friend, and their two female lesbos also want their union defined by marriage. Why is the gay lifestyle included in marriage but the swinger lifestyle is not. The reason this argument is so vital is because once you change the laws of marriage there are all sorts of unintended consequences. You can't change it once and then guarantee that this is the last time it will be changed. Any argument made for gay marriage can just as easily be made for polygamy, swingers, transvestites, and any other alternative lifestyle that similarly feels aggrieved. As for abortion I don't need to argue against killing humans. The fetus is alive, it moves, breathes, eats, thinks, and strives to survive just like a human. Your only real arguement against that is that they aren't alive. And being born with aids is a different sotuation, because you are not considering the thousands of others that have died just because their mother did not want to take on the responsibility. WEAR A FUCKING CONDOM. Most of your words were just insulting me with no valids points to argue with. Sounds personal, but I hope you didn't take this personally. My arguement is not ment to insult or controvert but instead to edjucate and bring up points that make you think and come to a more logical conclusion. You call me a stupid american and I have clearly shown that in alot of my behavior, but you have miss judged a book by its cover.

Ding ding ding, we have a winner.

And I must agree, I took a lot of offense to your comment about being a country that still believes there is a God, but that is a discussion for another time.

As for the politics side of things in this debate, I am independent. I am neither Republican nor Democrat. I believe that both parties have good and bad things about them. Republicans have the right idea about morals, but democrats have the right idea about rebuilding the economy. The issue within this is that we need one person, with the right morals and right economic ideas, and with our current candidates for president, such a thing does not exist.

And as for abortion, I believe that it is okay under certain circumstances. If the pregnancy is endangering the health of both the mother and the child, then, and only then, do I believe that abortion should be permitted. I do not think that it is right to offer the chance to have an abortion with any other circumstances. Rape cases included. If you were impregnated by the rapist, then I think that you should still give birth to the child, then either keep it or put it up for adoption. Its not right to punish the child for the father's mistakes, and in my mind, its not an adequate excuse for an abortion. Abortion is a coward's fix to a 'problem', and is extremely selfish. Every child, regardless of the means of conception, has the right to live. So again I say, I think an abortion should only be permitted and performed if the pregnancy threatens the lives of the child and the mother.

*Steps down off of soapbox*

Sorry for the off topic post, but I felt the need to share my opinion. Sorry if it was unwelcome.

Exactly. In extreme situations when it threatens other lives aborting the baby is unfortunatly the right choice. And yeah the religious thing requires a entire new topic.

My ignorance to be smart enough not to believe what idiots from church try to tell you/us? In that case: I love to be ignorant! Damn I love it so much to use my brain to think and not to believe that shit.

Gays will stay gay, wether gay marriage is allowed or not. Do you think just because it would be forbidden for gays to marry they become heterosexual? No, they just don't marry then. That's it. There are neither more nor less children when it would be allowed. Just more people would be happy. So your argument is completely invalid.

As I said before, whoever wants to marry, should be allowed to do that. As long as they are at least 18 years old and aren't forced to marry (like it happens in some countries), it's fine.

In the early time (since abortion is only allowed in the first weeks): No, it is not. It does not move, breath, eat, think etc. Someone should go to school again...

Not 100% save. Still some risk, even when it's probably less than 0,1%.

Indeed, arguing with a republican is pointless, I gave up a while ago. They are just too dumb to understand a shit.

I would never vote for a Republican. So yeah, I win. Thanks.

Haha look at are president now, screwed us in the ass and he is a democrat. The funny thing is that YOUR NOT EVEN FROM THIS COUNTRY. You can even notice the levels of each party. Most of the democratic population are of the lower class of society and all the republicans are of the upper class. SEEMS LIKE WE ARE ALREADY DOING SOMETHING RIGHT.
I don't believe in most of what the church says and does, because I think it is wrong, but I do believe in God and Heaven.
And why don't you actually get your facts straight and do some research about how the fetus is alive. I am not talking about when its the size of a golf ball, don't be a dumbass. I have argued with many people with your beliefs and I realized that I can't convince you. Proof lies already in the pudding when you totally blew off my points on gay marriage and religion becuase you can't think of anything to say. You just keep insulting without any real points. I don't blame you when you have nothing to back you up. I tend to just ask if you believe in a creator and if they say no, I just try not to bring up politics and religion because I know we will disagree.
You would sill vote for obama? Now that is 100% pure concentrated natural ignorance. I mean even democrats are saying they would vote for a republican rather than him. Hypocrites.

Note to self never bring up politics, but while we're at it

@Drinka: When a doctor is treating a broken arm it's going to sting at first. You don't round on the doctor with a knife blaming him for all your troubles.

@Durza: Almost all democrats are working force people, not some CEO with billions of dollars who aims to keep their fortune by anymeans

You turned a small paper cut into a crushed testicle. You know very well just as any other person that read this I did not blame anybody of anything, provoke, or even insult anybody.
Don't blame things on me that aren't true, this is just a simple arguement. Both political groups just have a different understanding and perception of things. I hopefully end here, my mounds of cocaine await me.

Kinda hard for him to lead the country properly after 8 years of Bush who really fucked everything up. It will take decades until it's going to be normal again, does not matter who would be president.

So I don't know what's going on? A few family members are coming from the USA and some are still living there. I probably follow the politics more than the average American.

Yeah you are right, the upper class has enough money, no worries and they just want to have an easy life and don't care about others. They vote republican. Smart guys don't. Or the lower class people.

I can't help you then.

It is pointless to debate with Republicans. The amount of fail in their brains ca't be fixed, it's a waste of time. Hence I do not spend to much time into trying it. You are already lost, obviously.
