Yeahh...great game. Incredibly addicted. If we are capable of starting a section for it, I'd be happy to take some role in the leadership. Whether we make a section for it or not, it's still an amazing game and I recommend downloading it and playing it for free at the very least.

Most questions about the game would probably be better directed to Rax, seeing as he has been playing much longer than I.

Game summary:
There are 2 factions, 8 classes, and 2 different "tracks" for each class that define what your specific abilities are. Each class has its own story quest, meaning the game never gets boring and is never the same for every character.

Republic classes include: Trooper, Smuggler, Jedi Knight, and Jedi Consular

Sith classes include: Imperial Agent, Bounty Hunter, Sith Warrior, and Sith Inquisitor

For anyone who's not already acquainted with at least the general idea of the game, I'd recommend looking it up 100% on swtor.com

It's $15 a month for a subscription, but I personally find it worth it. Also, the first expansion pack is now open for pre-order.

Hit me up if you have any questions :)

P.S. Don't know if there is a topic for this already or not, I looked and didn't see one. Also not completely sure that we haven't already ruled out an MMO's presence in RC, especially one that is not entirely free.

I have a pacific question, do you buy this in stores or in steam? Because I want it, but to lazy, ya know?

I've heard it's a tragically great, addicting, fun game. I've heard the bounty hunter smugglers is a great path, and it kinda has all of the Star Wars games combined into one tragical game!

And I heard there's a massive lag spike on it a lot of times, it creats bugs to my computer, is it true? Because if it is, I can't get it, and I want it! [yay]

By seeing the computer specs you have given us I can tell you, no it won't. not go buy it.

The game looks really interesting, btu I don't know if I want to pay 15$ / month, probably TES Oline might have a monthly fee aswell and the Lion does not like stacking bills >=/

Lion, if you do not get swtor, I will be very sad. Like this. =G
They even made a pet that follows you around that looks like a Lion!

But yes, I've put in over 21 days (in-game time) in to my character in swtor. The only lag issues that I've had are rare and only on the imperial fleet, where there are 200+ people most times. On the pc issues, I have never experienced them, if they do exist, I must be lucky, xD

@ Drax, yeah I think you gotta buy it in stores, I haven't seen it on steam.

If you guys do decide to get the game, tell me on xfire. We should probably all be on one server. Me and Durza are on the server named "The Prophecy Of The Five" So that might be a good one to start on.

Well guys, since Nov 01 2012 it is free to play! [PUPPY]

I think it is a very good alternative for RepCom, since there were ideas about a guild too!

@Ang: Prophecy of the Five is the server we use. It's an East Coast US server and you'll be automatically logged into it when you log on after the first time.

It really is a great game, and you don't have to buy it. It's free to play until level 30, and you can download the client from the site. Definitely check it out, I'm sure it would be no sweat to get our own guild up and running if we can get 6-7 current members in game regularly. From there we can recruit off of the servers, though applications would be a little more difficult in this case. It's not a skill based game for the most part, your ability is based on your level and your class. Not to mention, the size of the player base means that there are hundreds of guilds active at any given time, which means there is no real reason to force people to apply, because they'll just go elsewhere. I've not seen any form of guild competition so far, but Rax will know more than me about that considering I've not reached the level cap yet, and have only been playing for the last two weeks.

**Warning**

This game is severely addicting. I stay up until 1 or 2 in the morning every night to play it, and have started to let my grades slip because of it. IT IS WORSE THAN HEROINE. Don't start something you don't want to commit every second of free time to. I've logged 53 hours in the last 18 days.

What Server are we running on here Durza? I am on Harbinger, but if needed, I can change servers if needed. And also, what faction shall we be playing. Nokill, if you could set up a Section for this, we'd greatly appreciate it while myself, Durza, and whoever else is going to be a part of this figures out the details here. Have played ever since release (Early Access! [yay] ). Already preordered the new expansion, so if there are any questions, hopefully I can help answer them.

We will have to do some work, but I think we'll get there soon! ;P

This can be bought in Stores, however you can also purchase it online on Origin

I have not experienced any lag spikes. (With the exception of Fleet ofc)

Cyclone, I already talked to him about it. We're just gonna see who's interested for now. I'm gonna be heading this up, and if it's not me then it'll be someone with more experience in the clan. Also, we're gonna be playing on Prophecy of the Five. Don't get too excited just yet, I'm working on it and I'll update this as we move along with it.

Went to create the guild tonight, and realized I'd forgotten that you need to have 5 people in a group with you in order to create a guild and they'll be the founding members. If some of you get in game tomorrow evening, we can go over to the registrar and create the guild...if that won't work, we'll have to wait until we have some new candidates to do it.

I'd be happy to start this up. Could ya send me a PM or Xfire with all the details (Server, Faction, Any Requirements?)

If you re-read it, you'll notice that we have to have 5 members in game, in a group, and present at the guild registrar in order to create the guild. I get off work at 5 GMT -5 and should be on this evening. Crysis seemed like he might be interested in joining the division, so that might be at least two of us that will be present. I just need some people to be on this evening so we can go over and set it up.
