A shame, a shame...

I spent a good few years in MotR alongside Hunter, and so it's an bigger shame for me that the RepCom division has now bitten the dust. That said, this is why I left MotR not so long ago, it was pretty inevitable that it was on its knees and nothing could be done. MotR made me a decent player, and I got to the rank of EurCom. But all good things have to end someday.

I bet I can name more old MotR members that the rest of you combined mindless-grin

wait...MotR is death? lol you may aswell kill off every other clans exept redcell (and perhaps Ajax new clan) because MotR was one of the last good clans standing... i remember i had good times playing MotR in Bw/dw...i must admit this clan was the one i prefered to face since they always kept a good attitude towards their opponents...some players like Toast, Fish, Arjai, Aloha, Eagle, etc where hell of a challenge...

I fondly remember the old MotR-RedCell rivalry and all the players you mentioned (excepting Avorzik). The ER tournaments were so much fun and I will miss them a great deal. As Kimberdon said, there are very few of us left who remember those times.

It is a pity that MotR has died. RedCell and ReiGn remain perhaps the two last bastions of Republic Commando activity (although I can't speak to European clans like TX and MA) and even those are not impregnable.

P.S. If MotR was your second home, what was your first?

The Elites, ftw, was my first home. Many of the classic players you know were the bulk of Elites, and basically we transferred over to MotR around the time UT took power.

i was EurVCom but no1 was really noticing i was still playing so i left.
