if we start a "guild" it has to be World of Warcraft!

Dear Sir--- I wish to express my stern disapproval of the sentiment underlying this comment and my total disagreement with you on this stance.

Herewith I bid you imagine, if you will, an animated bitmap image file, in this particular instance depicting Oprah Winfrey in the process of shaking her head disappointedly, thereby expressing the very same disagreement towards your unfortunate proposition as the one detailed in the beginning of this post.

LMFAO.

Seriously though, MMORPG's and RPG's in general ain't my thing but yall go buck wild.

I joined a clan in it and the guys are pretty chill. The only problem with Counter Strike is there's always tons of hackers. The good news about GO is that it has a built-in "Competitive Mode" that make scrims really easy to setup and manage.

Saying that though most mp games have hackers. its just one of those things.

True that. Another thing that looks REALLY REALLY amazing is Elder Scrolls Online. I'm not a big MMORPG fan, but this looks like Oblivion and Skyrim: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxJTsq2X ... watch-vrec If we have enough members who love the games enough and are willing to pay the monthly fee (which hasn't been announced yet), and if our computers are all good enough, I'd really suggest we look into this!

I would die defending TESO section [devil]

If we are actually heading towards a MMORPG I would gladly join the team organising the entire structure, etc. A guild is not much harder than a Clan system as we currently have it.

Well, at the moment I play on a private WorldOfWarcraft server, but i'm okay if we start a guild on a retail server. In my opinion it IS the best MMORPG...

Guild Wars 2 would be an alternative..

Guild Wars 2 is an epic game indeed, if I find enough people in here that are willed to play it in a guild they should feel free to message me so we can open a 'fun guild'.
I used to play this game a lot and well u ned great teammates in order toenjoy the end game.
Also we need to agree on a server, preferable an english one; which means everyone needs to delete all his characters in oder to switch the server for free (nothing of a matter for me, as you reach the max level soon enough)

I would play, if only I had a decent computer.

;__; will see what I can do about that.

Don't know if it's been mentioned yet or not, and I'm too lazy to read through 4 pages to find out...but I just downloaded a game today called Planetside 2. It's a free fps that works like an MMO from what I understand. I haven't stopped to play it yet, but I'll post some feedback on it later. I've had several recommendations from old friends of mine who have very good taste in games.

Well, I played it for about 10 minutes, then I had to tear down unfortunately. I made a place for myself to play, and not an hour later did my desk get given away by my parents to someone they had promised it to a while ago. Go figure. I'm trying to find a spot to set up shop, but it's not looking good right now. Won't be able to give much of a personal review of the game. :/

Post subject:  Re: Heading to new direction

Well I downloaded it and after 12 hours and a very short night I can give my first impression about this game as a possible next direction for all of us:

Pro's
# It is for free and the system requirements allow low end computer users to play this game aswell
# Science fiction set up, therefore we don't lose all of our beloved SWRC atmosphere
# Variety, as Mr.N already said: There are Aircrafts, Tanks and much more
# It is still in the Beginning, so we as a clan might have a great start there
# Graphics are alright
# Huge Maps, action loaded combats
# complex gameplay, supported by the amount of classes and unlockable gear

Con's

# The map's a real mess, stupid Lions like me still don't understand it properly
# Large Maps and no CTF: Not made for quick scrimmages
# Servers: Well I played on an EU server for 3 hours and Ive seen barely any player. We coud all agree playing on the same server by having multiple characters (for free)
# As far as I see, it does not support a Clan System yet. One could easily dodge that by adding RedCell before his / her name

= This game has a huge potencial, as it hast just started there might be new features (clan system, new game modes, etc.) to be done. I would definately give a PS2 division a shot, this game is breath taking or the fact its free to play.

It's too late already, there is no chance for begginers to start LOL without getting flamed by 99% of the mainly retarded community.
