If you observe EA's actions you see they are not what you would call gentle when they acquire a new asset it is more akin to being soothed by a jack hammer.
You're missing the point. They've been handed Star Wars, they make the #1 content based FPS. They remake Star Wars Battlefront using the already succesful engine they are using for Battlefield.

Often so EA causes damage within the infrastructure and products of the same caliber or above are not reproduced again (i.e. BioWare) due to the dismantling the assets from within (as well as their products being average at best).
Other than maybe Grand Theft Auto or a sports game like Fifa or Madden, there really aren't any other extremely succesful console games. Yeah they fucked up Bioware but Bioware never had a large following (relative to FPS games - COD, Battlefield). Battlefront is an FPS and the "handling" of it can't be compared.

(On a side note the release cycle of consoles does not greatly affect PC gaming in a significant enough manner for it to be a strong point of argument outside of market competition.)
PC gaming has always, and likely will always, be the gold standard for console gaming. The graphics and capabilities are will pretty much always be higher than that of a console and is the reason why the PS4 and Xbox One were developed - better graphics, more capabilities.

Using big words doesn't validate your point, and poor grammar doesn't help your case either. You also essentially said nothing of relevance to the conversation here.

So with that said Star Wars is following a dying pattern thus interest is being lost in the brand and people have stopped to care due to continual disappointment.
If interest was being lost in the brand, Disney would not have paid $4.05 billion dollars if the brand was "dying". If you look around you would actually find that the interest in Star Wars is at an all time high. Assuming your approximately 20 years of age, your parents grew up in the Star Wars generation. Not only are they wanting to re-experience an amazing film of their youth, but the younger generations now want to play video games based upon that film. That is why they've already signed a deal to release 3 new Star Wars movies in the future.

Are you European? You must be. (not that this has any negative connotation because Chaos and Splinter were my boys[among others - Nokill, Ralph, Punk, Vash - if i didn't mention your name I probably love you too])

I could journey deeper on the matter at hand, but you appear not to have gathered all truths of the theme in question. Consequently I do not wish to go further in the current conversation as it was not the direction I intended and it would be an exhaustive task due to the fact that there is much to still be said. My time is sparse, adieu for now for I feel with each succedent exchange my words will heap higher till they reach the heavens.
It's actually you who hasn't done your research. You also already said that you didn't want to argue yet you responded anyways. If that was really the case you'd just stop taking the time to say anything
