The Xbox One will take a cable box signal and pass it through to the TV via HDMI, allowing Microsoft's console to overlay a UI and feature on top of an existing TV channel.

Included in the system is a digital video recorder (DVR) which allows the recording of gameplay.

Since it's not backwards compatible and XBOX-Live still has a monthly cost, I'm not getting it. PS4 here I come!

If halo games are created for the 360 still I won't get this. I might get ps4 for free online. dont know. dont care.

It's 100€cheaper than the XBOX and the licence of games isn't as fucked up as by microsoft. You can't just sell used xbox one games in gamestop for example, the publisher must allow it.

Further there is no 24/7 online duty on the PS4. I'm not paranoid but still there is more privacy policy by sony...

I was talking to a friend that works in Microsoft he told me that the xbox one was going to be a better console all around then the PS4 *Shrugs* I haven't done much digging, and I know he's getting laid off because the expense of launching a new console. Oh well either way consoles are still bad :D

Well not to destroy XBOX completely, they planned a system like steam on xbox one. Maybe it is an alternative if there are also as good discounts as on steam...

but for sure im gonnna buy Pureisuteshon fo!
