I'll start
One thing I remember was when I got the Kritzkrieg first thing I did was equip it of course. I thought that the Kritzkreig was a straight up upgrade to the Medigun(you know...invulnerability but at 25% faster charge rate). So when I popped the uber I would rush in and die wondering what was wrong. I was sure that I couldn't pop the uber successfully because of my repcom computer. After a while I finally asked why I wasn't granted invulnerability and then I had a moment of clarity and relief
To be fair the weapon description was deceiving

when i saw people using it, I just thought there was some upgrade that made guns shoot crits when the healer was fully charged

yeah heh

well let's see, i also remember that when i first played engi i thought that to get the higher lvl sentries u needed an unlock or something like that. 'Cause I would keep hitting it with my wrench but i didn't have anymore metal lol.

Soldier's Stash + Hatless engineer = Camera Beard

still my rocket jumps... i get up like 5 cm then fall down and shoot the next rocket and die

4 Reclaimed Metal + Medic Class token = Doctor's Mirror .

Also, always getting backstabbed when I'm Engineer even though I have my sentry in the corner and I'm camping on top of it.

This one doesn't happen anymore but back then when I only played pyro. I would bump into a disguised spy; wonder why I couldn't walk through him then turn to go around; then get back stabbed and going: "WTF?"

Well the other day I wanted to do the demoman pipe bomb jump thing even higher, so I put down like 4 stickies.... Fail.

hmm, another thing, i wasn't aware for a while was that as an engi u could rotate the direction on ur pda when building, now the ppl using my teles can feel somewhat liberated from having to run into a wall!

I only played pyro way back when I just got the game and didn't understand anything about the other classes . This would be about 9 months ago ?
