At most that means that 28 people max will be picked. What happens to the the 33 people, the majority, who weren't picked? do they form their own teams? Thats a majority of the people who signed up for a tournament who will not actually ever play in the tournament.
This isn't a tournament.
Poor choice of words on my part. I wasnt sure what else to call it.
Nonetheless, my point is the same. People signed up to be put on teams and play, not to have a small shot at subbing once in a while.

Maybe have each team pick six players maybe totaling points of 17, and the teams can field four of those six players each match, having subs built into the team. You would also need a rule making sure all the subs got some playing time as well, but it would be one way to get more people involved and on teams.
I have been pushing for 4 starters and 2 subs for a while now. Though, the two subs should be able to replace people on the team without going over the point limit during a match.
Fantastic! Why hasn't this been done yet? All we need are a few basic rules to make sure teams don't game the system and that everyone gets to play. I think if anyone else has ideas to make sure as many people as possible actually get put on teams, now's the time. The more people we can get on teams the better, and the current ratio of people on teams to people signed up (15 out of 61 by my count) just is not going to cut it.
