Just wondering wether there is anyone around who's able to create some maps (even if there is just a basic knowledge you can try it and I'd help as much as I can).

I'd try to have some time then and create maps as well, and maybe we could work on a new RedCell mappack, the last one was released quite a while ago. So a few guys who would create 2-3 maps each should actually do it, I am still having some maps from me that have never been released (not even in WarPack).

So if you'd like to create maps, or want to learn it, message me. :)

I would love to learn it. But it normally confuses me greatly.

I honestly have to say that I do not know that editor, but according to the screenshots I found on Google it's a little bit similiar. Of course not the same by far, but with some practice I'm sure you can get used to it.

By the way I already worked on 2 maps yesterday which are both almost finished, one of them is an arena map the other one more similiar to Engine.

Edit:
Almost forgot that I also made a map some weeks ago when I've been in TX, however that map has never been released. I do not have many new screens of it but I already fixed many things and added more than you can see on the screens. Because this map was supposed to be in the WarPack there are WarPack logos on it, but as I said before, it has never been released.

Nice work, I especially like the lighting on the first two maps you posted: not too bright, not too saturated, but balanced.

I'm happy there are ACPs.

So you are making a RedCell mappack?

@Angelus: Have you tried setting bumpmapping to low? If that doesn't do it for you, you may be able to find help at http://www.sandcrawler.net.
