Great to see u back and in business!

I like the infamous sig. Can't really tell what's going on in the background or even what is in the background for that matter, and that's something that works well for this sig, for me anyway. I also really like the electricity/lightning around the character's arm and shoulder. Like the bright flames/sparks compared to the rest of the darker space. I don't see what the chopped up squares(don't know what to call it) next to the text adds, but it doesn't lose anything either. It's just kinda there and you learn to accept it. [steam]
Just some feedback from someone who doesn't know jack squat about sigs, but sure likes to look at what the artistic aspects have to offer [giggle2]

haha thanks ibob :)

its funny, everbody's monitor is different, and on my laptop, the sig (infamous) looks perfect, but then when i look on my other computer, all my sigs look significantly darker, its strange. But the lightning was already on the render, and i really wanted to bring that out so i brightened it up more. I was originally going for a black and white sig, but when i was messing around with some C4d's for my background effect, i came up with that orange tech type style, and i actually really liked it because it kept that dark evil atmosphere i was going for. As for the boxes, those were just filler for around the text, i like that type of syle for some reason, and it looked way more empty without it.

I love getting comments! it helps me see what i need to work on, or approach (different) next time. And since i want to do this as a career, i really need to see from my audience, who may or may not have experience, what they think so i can hopefully grab more attention and expand my audience

with that said, New Sig Up! First Vert (too my knowloedge) are least for a long time, comments are ALWAYS welcome!

haha tree its ok if you feel you don't know what your talking about! im planning on majoring in media arts, so making advertisements for companys, and so on, ill need to appeal to a mass audience, a majority of whom im sure don't have any artistic skills, but they may have opinions on it, just tell me what you like/don't like about it :) its supposed to better me, and ill take it into consideration next time!

It's pretty good, but not your best. I think it just gets a little messy and blurry at some point, but it kinda works. KIU

i think the blurryness might come from this "smoothing" filter i put on it help polish it up, but i thought i got most of it by another "sharpening type filter." thanks for the feedback deks! where would you say it was messy? mainly just the arm?

Yeah, just the left side is a little bit messy. It's still a very pretty tag. You still use gimp?

of course i still use gimp! thanks for the feedback!

the "smoothing fliter" is really called Anisotropic smoothingthe "Sharpening filter" i used was inversion diffusion

those 2 are found in the G'MIC plug in. im pretty sure its a standard thing now with all the new gimp programs that come out

you still messing around with gimp deks?
