I thought this was a good thread from the old forums, so here it is, revived :) .

Currently, I am reading Slaughterhouse 5 by Kurt Vonnegut. I've only read the first chapter, but it's good so far; quite interesting style. Next on the list is Catch-22 by Joseph Heller, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne, We by Yevgeny Zamyatin, Then We Came to the End by Joshua Ferris, The Yiddish Policemen's Union by Michael Chabon, and finally Young Stalin by Simon Sebag Montefiore. Yah, me and Amazon delivery-man have becoming quite acquainted lately =P.

Post what you're reading, and whether or not you'd recommend it to the rest of us! ;D

The Lord Of the Rings(i saw the movies so i thought id read the book)
-J.R.R Tolken ofcourse [roll]

iam really dissapointed i saw the movie before i read the boook it just ruined everything their are alot of things that are in the book that arent in the movie and gives a far better thrill than i could imagine. I wish i hadnt seen the movie it runied the entire book for me if you havent seen it(most people have) i suggest you read the book first trust me it will be one of the best choices you will ever make.

I've read LotR; a mile between the movie and the book. If you haven't seen nor read LotR, DO NOT WATCH IT. READ IT.

You nearly had it, it's just got an e on the end: Shakespeare.

In the last 3 days I've read the first 3 books of the series by Stephanie Meyer, and I'm ordering the 4th soon.

I really enjoyed them, it's about this girl who falls in ove with a vampire, and a load of shit happens. Doesn't soud brilliant, but it's a pretty good read.

1) Twilight
2) New Moon
3) Eclipse
4) Breaking Dawn

(If anyone cares...)
