Virus, HELP! I have a thermalright HR-01 plus and one of these fans: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6835119098 I run the fan at about 8000 RPM and my temps are still too high. I get about 80c idle/130c load. Do I need to solder the heatsink to the processor or something? hehe.... |

hey ho! What heatsink paste do you use? does the cooler fits perfect on the cpu? maybe its to loose? and why do you use 25mm fan? as far as i know, this cooler is made for 120mm fans D: what cpu do you have? overclocked? what are the other components? did you brake the heatsink somehow? (cutted a pipe off or something) |

I use 25 of my 8000 rpm fans arranged in a 5x5 square for maximum cooling power On a more serious note, I have a pentium D 805 at stock speed (2.66), a 120mm 1200 rpm fan, and arctic silver 5. Temps are actually 52 load/42 idle. Still seems a bit hot though.... Perhaps I just messed up the thermal goo. |
