Hi, I can't seem to hold off attacks very well with the base I have at present. I've upgraded most of my weapons to lvl 6, but I am still getting trashed. I notice a lot of guys have double walls and I'm wondering if that works better? Any suggestions would be welcome! =/

First, I have had similar issues in the past until I modified my base setup.

Main idea is you cannot leave anything undefended, try to cluster up your resources behind your defenses, I also seem to think that a wall around town hall works well, as it is an extra layer of defense for it.

Of course other people may have different suggestions, it's really about who you ask or who is attacking your town.

Also just a friendly tip: Don't be afraid to ask the clan for reinforcements, we are here to help you!

Good luck all. ;P

Haha well I had a lengthy and informative message ready to post and then i accidently closed the browser...

anyhow

dont do double walls, its a fail. i tried it and got wrecked and my walls and really strong too.

my recomendation is either squares or pockets

with pockets: you put 2-3 towers inside of wall and do that with everything thus making "pockets of buildings". i see a lot of the upper level players do this

the other strategy is squares: put every building inside a square of wall.

What to put inside of the wall: Defense towers, Town Hall, Gold Storage & Elixir Storage

*EVERYTHING else should be put outside of the wall. these buildings will act as distraction for attackers. if you check your game regularly (about every 2-8 hours) then don't bother putting your gold/elixir collectors inside the wall... if you get raided you wont lose that much so dont worry about wasting your wall to defend them. if you have extra wall to spare then maybe but i doubt you will.

Thanks for the tips. I tried rearranging my buildings, put a defense tower in with my gold and elixer storage and moved some collectors inside the walls. Seems to have helped, my base held against an attack with 175 lvl3 barbs with spells. So happy! [yay]

This works perfect apparently, I got attacked 5 times and not once did they break trough the walls ;D
