It’s been a long tough road to get here, but it’s nice to see that at the end of the day, RedCell is justly at the top of Republic Commando. There were times when I felt discouraged; times when RedCell seemed to be lost in the competition, but those were the times when I tried harder to bring this clan to the top.
Whether the tournament at gamebattles.com goes through or not, RedCell is going to own up the competition, I do believe. As much as I’d like to see this, I think it is important to divide the power into more groups. If one or two clans are always dominating, it won’t be as competitive as if there are four or five, or even more, top clans running for the number one rank.
For this reason, I am leaving RedCell in order to create my own clan. Call me foolish, perhaps rightfully so, for so many have tried and failed to make new clans. It seems that the established gaming clans are the ones that survive and prosper. Still, I’m different from the others, or at least I’d like to think that I am. And just maybe, I’ll be able to pull this off, in order to help out the community.
I’ve come to a line in the sand, and I’ve decided to follow it down the beach. Which path is right? I do not know, but all I can do is follow my instincts. After all, they brought me to RedCell in the first place. When all this is over, and I’ve made it to the sea, I hope that I may be allowed to return to my home, RedCell.
I was going to try to resist individual recognitions, but there are some people that I can’t help but say a little something to:
Noval, thank you so much for everything. You’ve made me what I am in this game. So many frustrating 1v1s, but it was all character building, eh?
Remo, thanks for your infamous sniper training. It has helped me a lot. Also, it was you who helped me through my first few tournament games and showed me how to relax (while still paying attention to the game).
MadCat and BoBo, my BW15 boys. We really came together to make a great team that week.
Plazma, I know you probably don’t visit the forums any more, but I had a great time leading RedCell’s Battlefield 2142 section with you. We owned up our fair share of kids back then. Maybe you’ll be back someday?
Nokill, master of the PIE! Not too much to say, except thanks for the opportunity to be in such a great clan. Own on, good sir. Own on…
Thank you for understanding, and everything else. I’ll still be around the forums. There’s some strange sentimental attraction that keeps me here, so don’t worry about me disappearing.
Here are just a few of my many accomplishments from my wonderful time in RedCell:
(notice the gold leaf ^^)
And my personal favorite:
Coming into RedCell, it was my dream to become a general. They seemed so legendary back then. Now that I've accomplished that, I realize that what I really wanted was to be a classic -]RC[- player. When someone thinks of RedCell, I hope they'll think -]RC[-AjaX.
