For both of them: I like the style; the vector brushes work pretty well, and give a very "fresh" impression, especially with the colourful background. In that sense, you've made some good work -- although this style is more suitable for large pieces.

The first one is far, far better than the second, so I'll talk about that one a bit. I would consider making the background a bit bigger, or at least the birds bigger, so it doesn't look like this guy is 4 meters tall. Also, what's that thing on his head? Oh well.

The balance of effects is alright, but could be better. You should be aiming for roughly the same amount of effects on each side of the dude (unless it's being used to create flow, which isn't the case here), and on this piece, you've got too much white stuff on the right, whereas the left is just right. All this white stuff on the right is just drowning out what you really want to see -- which is the cool vector brushes and arrows and crap. I would just delete the white that is close to his body and then move the other stuff, but that might be a bit difficult. In any case, this is the main problem I have with the sig, and you will have come a long way with it.

Another comment on the white stuff: you gave the dude a stroke, but look closely at it, around the arms, and you'll see that it's really sharp and looks like crap. Fix this by adding a new stroke and blurring it immidiately after, or by adding more effects.

The backgrounds are good, and they look like you made them yourself; the grass-type is the same and the birds are identical; there are the same zig-zag lines in the background, etc.. Did you use a tut for this?

I must say, you have done well with the text. I love the splatter background you have to make it distinguishable. However, the text here does no favours at all to the sig. It detracts from the focal point, which is the dude in the middle. If you don't care about signing your work, you can get rid of it, and see how it looks.

Alright, that's all I have time for ...

on the first one the background looks really awesome but you just need to blend your render in with the rest of the awesomeness [Mexinoes]
