I'm working on developing a program for this summer at the moment. I'm going to get my mile well under five minutes, my 800 meters at a consistent 2 minutes, hopefully get my bench press to around 250-270 lbs (without painkillers^^), and just look all around beastly. I'll see what I can come up with and let you know how it works.

sry to bring back an old topic, but i like this one.

first off, weights arent important. they are great for showing off and building a large amount of muscles, like a body builder.

if you wanna get "ripped" then you do NOT need to train with weights, you can do many things to help build muscles.

my work outs are 2 to 3 times a week, 15 pull ups, 50 push ups, then go into incline push ups and many different styles of push ups. i do 3 sets 30 crunches and 30 leg lifts for my abs, and run for about 2 miles every other day.

if you wanna build strong abs you should be working on them every day, or every other day. running with eventually get you looking ripped, so if you dont have time to work out, you can simply run. it will take more time but you will get nearly the same result.
