Honestly Venom could you explain your actions before? Its not like it was a big deal, but it showed a side of you that makes me doubtful about voting. Most people just leave without too much of a fuss, but not you. Give me some reason to vote.
Well, I assume that you are asking about the time that I left before. I guess I can say what I've said to status over xfire. He was less willing to listen from what I felt.
I left RedCell the first time for a few reasons. One of which being that RedCell was becoming a powerhouse which every player would flock to. This not only removed competition from the community, but it would eventually just give players a reason to disregard clans in general.
Secondly, I did not agree with some of the voting policies of some of the recruiters in the system. However, I soon realized that I couldn't change that - even if I tried. Now, I don't see a reason to change the voting system because every system will always have its flaws. I have seen this through both clans that I have worked with during my time away from RedCell.
After I attempted to talk to some of the recruiters, I thought it really would be best to leave and create another clan. A new clan would give players an alternative option to stacking all players into one clan.
I chose to do all of this when I actually had the time to sit down for a few hours to play and organize things. My schedule no longer has space to organize, so why not sit back, shoot the bullshit and play? Why come to RedCell, though? I know if i stayed at the MotR site as a regular member, I would still be asked for help on a lot of things, and I don't feel that my actions would have actually gotten anywhere.
Now it comes to earning my last vote - whether it be from you, drinka, or another voter. I really can't do much to earn it except show you that I can be loyal as a member(or an app). I'm sure most of the US players know me because I've been around a bit. For some odd reason, I tended to have pull and respect with a decent amount of them; I really don't know why. No amount of pull or encouragement will cause me to be a part of another clan or lead another start up clan. There are reasons for this.
I'm getting older - I'm slowly and sadly realizing this. I'm might get a website management job with a start up company. I'm gonna need to grow up eventually, and that is why I am choosing to step down from any sort of leadership in gaming. At some point, it takes away so much of your time that you could be using to do other great things. I want to chill out as a regular member as RedCell as I ride out my days as a gamer without too much responsibility except showing up, playing and posting. I don't need to have an entire group of players completely relying on me to tidy things up.
There you have it. I saw status' post asking why I came back before I actually finished typing this nice essay. I feel as if I already answered the question as to why I came back.
