It won't be using the id Tech 5 game engine. Skyrim will use a completely new one by Bethesda.

It's well worth the wait and 11.11.11 is epic ;P Plus it gives me time to get a new pc lol. Creation Engine sounds promising so far. I can't wait to start exploring Skyrim.
