Surprise Attack - New Screens Up!!

Hey guys i am currently making my first map! how exciting

i originally had my map planned out a different way, but trying to add terrian has been really hard and so i had to redo a big chucnk of it lol (though it was pretty small before so its a good redo

).

i will hopefully get some screenshots of the little progress i have done (being i deleted like over 50% in teh process of redoing lol).

Anything you guys can add to make this map more enjoyable?

Oh and i am naming it Surprise Attack if you didn't notice lol

A very dark room with very little light or some kinda strobe effect would be cool.

Sounds awesome!

Maybe some vents that drop to a lower level like in Engine? Or make a couple elevators that are right next to each other that lead to different rooms, so if the opponent hears you they still are not sure where you are. Have a few ramps as well?

iactually really like teh elevator idea, becuase its annoying when people just camp there and just shotty you, ill see what i can do. oh yes ill try to and some ramps

oh and also this map is going to massive, as if it is in a Trando Base. it is literally huge, im going to have multiple floors (5+) and i was thinking also having a ctf option also where the trando start at teh top of the base and the rep start at teh "secret" vent. ill screen shots of it soon it is very basic as of right now, not much in it lol.

Then the Gignormous base (the trando spawn will be way up there somewhere)

Try not to get lost now lol. i think ill post big signs that say "Thrid Floor" and "Second Floor" all around to help you guys out

dont make it too big. most rookie map makers realize they have all this room and go crazy making ginormous maps that arent fun to play unless you get a full 16v16
