We did a test game just using teams equal by ranking and it went pretty well. The teams were balanced and challenging. Good job to the voters for that!

This is a AWESOME idea and I'm happy to see how far it's already gotten but I think it would be a good idea as venom said earlier just to have this as a winter break thing due to the fact people would go inactive again and teams would fall apart. Sparking an idea, maybe this could form into a 2 week long tournament between 'set teams' picked by the moderators of this idea. I also haven't seen most of the players on the ranking list actually in-game but maybe its just coincidence... I'd defiantly help out as much as needed and fully support this however it ends up going down!

Any grievances you have with the rating system should most appropriately be taken up with -=TAG=-Danny, as he has a penchant for rating players below their actual capabilities.


On the foreal though, we went through everyone individually and came to a concensus based on a number of factors. There are players ranked lower than others who could, potentially, beat the higher ranked player 1v1. We took various things into account though when rating and took the mean of our input to create the current ratings. All ratings are also subject to change.

Don't be offended by your rankings guys! If you're truly underrated then your rank will be updated appropriately. Pariah worded it perfectly.
Personally, I don't entirely see how you could get too offended by a ranking. If you are underrated, it should be extremely easy to get on a good team. If you are overrated then the voters thought highly of you. Both have a positive side if you look at it.

I feel the quote by Maya Angelou is appropriate:
"If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude. Don't complain."

Basically what I'm trying to say is that there's a positive side no matter what your ranking is, you just have to choose to look at it.
