well this is kinda a request for some ideas... ive got a project for school and i have to include an art/creative peice to go along with the analysis of my poem/poet. basically i need some ideas as to what exactly i can do with photoshop for this. cant be any bigger than a normal 8.5x11" peice of printer paper. this is my poem. called "My Last Duchess" by Robert Browning. http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/my-last-duchess/ well any thoughts? |

hmm... I'm glad I didn't take that class. You could just draw/paint/whatever the scene described in the poem. I'm a bit tired, and couldn't be bothered to read it all, but how about some guys standing around looking at a painting on the wall? Or am I completely missing the point here? |

yeah thats pretty much what it is. a Duke admiring a painting of the Duchess (who he killed). my first thoughts were to have a wall with the painting of the duchess, with a mysterious guy facing the wall (his back to the viewer) holding a bloody knife or something..... how does that sound? |

I feel like drawing a literal picture of the exact scene in the poem is a little boring... you should do something more abstract, and if you have a typical english, teacher I'm sure they'll love that Draw something about a theme or motif of the pome or some crap |

Make something that's remotely connected, but then you can explain your entire thought process for how you got from the original poem to your depiction. Unless your lit teacher is unlike every other lit teacher I've known, she'll be very happy. |

Yeah, but I have NO clue what I could do. She would like that though. I'm just not a creative person. |
