Breaking Point is hosting a 3v3 Capture the Flag bracket!

Matches will be 2 CTF matches. If a match is tied 1 game to 1 game, a Team DeathMatch game up to 30 will be played with the same teams as the first game. Euro Vs US will take total flag caps into consideration for the third match server choice. If flag caps are tied, the highest total kills for the top player on each team for each game will be added up- It doesn't matter whether or not the top players are the same in each game).

Teams will randomly be assigned a place in the bracket.

Teams must have 3 players. Subs will not be allowed. Rounds will take a week- give or take a few days. Teams who are unavailable for their match all week will get the loss. Proof must be given by the active team in order to receive the win.

The map of the first game of the series must be the same as the second game of the series.

When reporting scores, please be sure to submit screenshots. Any match without screenshots will be removed and not counted.

Using noob weapons is not allowed.

I'm not completely sure about whether or not they allow you to play in team tournaments that aren't specifically clan only. I would say since this tournament TECHNICALLY doesn't affect your tournament record, I think they should allow you to play.... Don't quote me on that...

Well, I'll find out about it and if they permit me to participate as a grunt, I will gladly do so.

So even if you win the first one 3-0 and lose the second one 2-3, that still means that the TDM is played?

yeah that makes no sense. Only if, for example, both games are won 3-2, then a TDM should be played. And I would suggest playing two TDMs if necessary, instead of determining the server in such a complicated way...

I agree with Yourself on this, it makes more sense to do it with 2 TDM's on each server. Therefore, both groups don't complain that the pings were unfairly stacked.

The problem with this is that opening a fourth game up allows more ties... Having the rule where we add up the highest kills for each game allows people to strive to play the best that they possibly can in each match on both servers...

That won't work. One problem is that scores in ctf do not completely represent how well someone played (for example, you could just run around spamming and get kills without actually taking risks to get the flag). Also, you get points for flag caps on some servers but not on others. A tie in TDM is highly unlikely...
