As for the Urban Dictionary, that part was mostly in jest, but it is still the best place for slang and other non-official terms and colloquialisms. While I normally wouldn't stand by anything originating from 4chan, this rule IS worth following.

Thirdly, saying you "normally wouldn't stand by anything originating from 4chan", then doing it for one exception is rather hypocritical. Either don't or do. I don't buy a car because I like its floor mats, that's ridiculous. You don't stand by something for one exception. Doing so leads me to believe that you really have no other sustaining logic other than to just so stubbornly not believe and reject reality and provide your own trust to my answer that would approximate my gender. Especially since it can only be one of two things, realistically, siding with the male-dominant option is expected. Denying logic is just borderline sexist and stupid.

To begin, blind acceptance of every piece of information you maintain is true would be foolish, not only because this is the internet, and you can't trust anything ANYone says on the internet, but also because of your past record of dishonesty.

Your quick rejection of the urban dictionary is in my opinion quite foolish in itself as it is the best collection of colloquial language and slang, and I have found it to be quite useful on many occasions. I suppose since it wouldn't relate to classroom learning you wouldn't understand its usefulness.


Whoever sees things in black and white all the time is the definition of a fool. Just because I NORMALLY would not stand for anything originating from 4chan does not make me a hypocrite, it means I choose to evaluate each item on a case by case basis, and yes normally they are garbage. HOWEVER, that does not mean that every single bit that began on that board is total crap.
To automatically dismiss something just because the place it came from "normally" produces rubbish is stupid.
