Tell me, Ms. Big Brain, why are you always trying to be the smart one when you can't even stay ontopic? Geez, thought i was the offtopic dude here... 8U

Anyways, if i criticize then i have to give the good example right:

I mostly like the genres club/house, dance, hiphop, r&b, hardstyle, trance and some pop. I dislike the rock genre mostly.

Oh and btw i love The Beatles since a few months... 8)

How about some holiday music?

Trans Siberian Orchestra - Carol of the Bells

I'm not a big fan of it, for the most part, but I love TSO.

Sorry I coudn't find a better video of this song, but this is really cool, imo.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxImd2kbndU

Listen to the little melody being played behind the guitar, especially in the first thirty seconds. Keep you eyes closed while you listen and post what you see in your mind.

I'm just wondering because both my friend and I pictured almost the same exact thing, very vividly.

An Irish countryside theme with rolling hills and wavy grasses mixed with luscious trees and a sunrise. :?

YES, but not exactly what I had. I didn't get that it was in Ireland, but that fits. Or some grassy hill in central Asia?

Anyway, here's mine:

At the beginning where the note slides down lower and there's that ringing in the background is like the intro to those old moives where it's got the little 5...4...3...2..., you know? Its flickering between a black and white background and a colored one. The scene that Marietta described is trying to break through the number screen, but everything is fuzzy and blurred.

That is until the guitar comes in and the melody begins to play. This is when the 'movie' starts. The numbers screen gives way to a claymation world. A claymation countryside with rolling hills, wavy grasses mixed with luscious trees, and no joke, a sunrise. (It might have been closer to noon in mine) In the middle of this world is a claymation train, complete with a claymation conductor who's beady eyes stare blankly ahead.

The train slowly moves forward, and as it moves, the sun rises and sets repeatedly as the seasons pass as if in fast forward. Regardless of how many seasons go by, the scenery keeps recycling itself, just changing its covering to adapt to the current season.

I don't know why this vision came to me so vividly when I listened to it, but when I asked my friend what he saw, he said almost the exact same thing. He said he saw a claymation world with a train going by and a conductor like the one that I described. He didn't mention time passing or the little intro to the scene, but that is freaky. It's also freaky that Marietta described the scenery almost perfectly, minus the claymation part.

So I went to see Alesana, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Fear Before, I Set My Friends On Fire, and Fall From Grace do a concert yesterday night, and it was pretty amazing. Alesana is probably the best live band I've ever heard, no lie. Plus, I was wrecking kids in the mosh pit. ^^

Any post-hardcore fans here?
