Sooooo for christmas I recieved a new computer.
However im trying to transfer repcom over via USB since i can't find my disc anywhere and it worked. However whenever i try to join a public server it lets me play for like 5 seconds then says cd key error.

But ip`s work perfectly fine for it and i can play. Its not a major issue since I can live without pubs, But sometimes I like to hop on and rtg.

Idk what to do about it since im not really techy at all and im wondering if anyone here can help.

Thank you

Unistall the game on your old computer and it should be ok. If you did it your game is out. I had the same problem 1 years ago.

Go to the folder of your game (Lucas Arts/ Star War Republic Commando/Install) and launch "CDKey.exe". Then type the CD key and it should work.

If you do not know your key anymore, open the Windows registry on your old computer (click "start button" and type "regedit" on Win7 and Vista, open "run" and type "regedit" on XP). Then go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\LucasArts\Star Wars Republic Commando\1.0"

Then there is an entry called "CD key", which will display the key.
