What happened to TX? Or why did you leave?

I'm sorry, but with this, I'm leaving TX.

I guess this will surprise most of you, but I've really thought about it for a long time and I have finally made my decision. The main reason for my leave is that I don't feel like I did one or two years ago. TX changed a lot and it turned into something which doesn't fit me anymore; it's too big and the atmosphere has changed drasticly. When I have a look at my old application, everyone were so friendly and the atmosphere was just something completely different. I miss the times when I felt great about being a part of this community. The times when I could have fun playing and working for TX. At the moment, I don't feel the same.

Of course, you guys will tell me that we're able to change things here in TX, and I know that we can get the good feeling back. The thing is, I will probably have only a half year left with playing and I really feel for a change. After the summer I'm going to the army and won't have much time for the computer. Changing things here in TX will take some time and I really want to finish off my career somewhere else, to get the good feeling back. Aditionally, the game isn't really competetive anymore, which is something I miss. The really good/fair matches I play these days are internal matches, which is getting boring after a while. I think the community needs better clans to keep the game alive. TX was my first and only clan in this game and I must say, I've had a great time in here! My goal when I joined you, was to help you in every way I could. I feel I have reached that goal and I'm happy with that. I'm happy that you gave me a chance to join.

At the moment, I think there are too many rules and regulations, which causes a strange atmosphere. A gaming clan is meant to be for fun, not a society full of guidelines. There's also too many so called "leadertypes" in here imo, who only join groups etc to get more rights/a new forum color, and who loves to use their rights to make things best for themselves. I think relaxing for a while and just focus on the positive stuff; the clan, the members and gaming, would be a good idea. All this new ideas, rules etc might sound good in the start, but too much is actually too much. It kind of turns into something negative after a while. Just thought I could mention this as a tip.

I actually didn't want to say any personal words in this topic, cause I will always forget someone. However, I just want to say something to Vash:

I know I will dissapoint you with this, but I've thought about it a long time and I know this decision is right. I've had a great time here in TX and I want to thank you for that. I've learned a lot during my time here, both by you but also by the clan itself. Without you, the clan wouldn't be anything but a normal clan I think. I would like to wish you good luck in the future, both with the clan and with your real life. You're going to do fine for sure.


To the rest of you; I could've sit here and write stuff for ages about you all, but I'm afraid I will miss someone. I just want to thank you all for my time here, I would've never stayed this long without you. I've had a great time here with everyone of you and I hope that TX will still roll and keep going for a long time. I also hope that you can fix some problems and regain the good old feeling, no matter how long it will take.

I will probably still hang around on the forums, so I won't be completely away. I want you to remove all my access, but the WarZone one. I guess I shouldn't be WarZone staff leader anymore, but a normal member would be cool.

With this, I am leaving TX.
