How did the universe first get created? You cant create something from nothing. How would a god be created before anything else? I like to believe in a god. It's comforting to think there is an afterlife because tbh thinking about what it would be like to be dead scares me.

I'm actually not **lying** about thinking death isn't scary. What scares me about death, is the idea of being punished eternally in hell for my actions in life. If it were just to be over when we die, and for us to entirely cease to exist then I would have no problem with it. I don't find the idea of spending eternity in heaven worshiping God to be comforting at all to be honest. Heaven takes away the things in life I deem to be fun, and sounds an awful lot like a dictatorship. Why should anyone aspire to die only to go and spend eternity worshiping someone else? But at the same time, it definitely sounds better to me than going to hell and suffering and being in pain eternally. In my mind, the ideal situation would to just cease to exist entirely. Which is why I hope there isn't really a God, but at the same time I cannot embrace the idea of there being no God for fear of being wrong. That being said, I do not find death itself to be scary; I find the idea of being punished eternally because there truly is a God that I did not follow in life to be scary. I know that several people can agree with that statement, because I've had discussions with friends in real life about it, and they agree. Death is not the scary part, the idea of being tortured eternally in hell for not following the "rules" in life is what is scary. Just food for thought.

A ape peed on your thought food and now it contains hiv.
Drinka just had to respond in a long ass response didn't he, just couldnt keep his god damn whore mouth shut..

I do not believe you. Everyone is scared of death, but mainly the concept of your existence to cease and to be ultimately nothing. You will literally just be gone. Also if you believe in that then there is no purpose to life. You would have no purpose and therefore everything you do and everything around you would be meaningless. Good and evil would be non existent, you would not have a conscious or soul. Defeats the want to live. Forget about hell, just stick to the fact of questioning if there is something on the other side. I believe the true definition of life is based on the fact that we have a purpose, the feeling runs in our blood.
People say the feeling and striving to have a purpose is just a human characteristic that means nothing and equals to a emotion, but if you really search deep and think about it, that can not be true for so much of this worlds life and contents to be in existence and continuously live on.
You must embrace something or nothing, there is no such thing as a grey area or luke warm. You feel afraid of Gods wrath? Why would you be afraid of something you do not believe in. Why such a guilty conscious, why not take up the responsibility to do good and just anyways so that if there was a God you would go to heaven? You must make up your mind for you cannot believe in both. You'll change your mind to something as you get older whether it is in belief of God or not.
I didn't want to get deep into religion, but you have the idea of heaven and hell wrong, only people who reject god in his face after death infront of him will go to hell. Many religions have different ideas on it, that is why i don't have a religion and base things on what i believe is true through reason and thought. Any further and beliefs get too iky and there would be to much to argue and disagree about.
As for your friends: birds of a feather flock together.
007 still contemplates if there is a God or not, but atleast he wants to have a purpose and live on to enjoy "being" and not savage the years he has on earth only to forever feel the bruise of fear in his chest dreading the day that he will disappear from the existence of man kind.

You don't seem to get it. I really don't fear death, I find the idea of ceasing to exist comforting. I don't care if you think such a thing is impossible, because it is. My life has been brutal enough to me in the 16 years I've been alive for me to see death as a comfort if it just ends. I don't desire to live forever or to exist forever, I find the idea repulsive actually. If I were given admittance into heaven, I would kindly ask God to just cease my existence as a reward to me for my troubles. I believe there is a God, but with there wasn't for many reasons. I understand that I live in sin, but would love for it to not matter in the end. You have your views, I have mine. I'm not acting tough, especially not for you guys. You know me better than a lot of people, and so why should I try and pretend to be a hardass when I'm not? I am serious when I say that I do not fear death, and that I only fear damnation as a consequence for any choices I make that God does not favor. You say that an afterlife gives us a purpose, I say that our purpose is to live life and enjoy it while we can because it won't last forever, and take comfort in the idea that you will rest eternally and cease to exist once you're done. If my life's purpose is to live for someone who I cannot see and that does not respond to me when I speak to him, and then to die and worship him forever; then I despise the existence. That like being a leader to your people, ignoring their voices while they live, and expect them to praise you eternally for no good reason. Eternity of praise for 80 years of life? Sounds like we got screwed in that deal. Just sayin'.

Still don't believe you.
All I can say is that I don't understand your mentality. You give me no ground to stand on. Doesn't make sense. The things you say are not human.

Go through hell and back with your life, be forced to grow up and be an adult at 12, become the only working member of your family at 16, give up all luxury, and reach the deepest, most darkest part of depression. Survive that, don't kill yourself, come back from it, and still find ways to be happy with what little you have and then you'll understand where I stand.

P.S. My sig should seem more appropriate now.
