First of all, I would hesitate to equate disobediance with doing something wrong. And when people say, why do children have to be taught to be "good," what do you mean? Are you talking about "good" as in the completely artificial construct of civility? Or are you talking about something more fundamental? Children are naturally curious and are only tempered by their parents. That's definitely something you could write about.

Psychopaths would be interesting, however I'm not sure how much you could do with that.

You could talk about the nature of belief and how our beliefs and upbringing determine our actions. This could lead to an exploration of freedom of thought and a question of whether we really should be free to believe whatever we want. This ties into the next idea about individual vs. society.

A lot of people have mentioned morality on some level or another. You could look at morality and how it varies from culture to culture. You could contrast an individual's concept of morality with society's and argue which is more important. Why are certain things illegal? Two prominent examples are drugs and queer rights. Edit: Perhaps you could relate this to human nature by asking why some people feel the need to control what others do.

On another note, you could study the idea of guilt. Does it occur naturally when someone does something terribly wrong? Or is it merely a construct of our society foisted upon people?

Well, some of my ramblings have deviated from the original topic, but I hope they give you something to think about.
